About Us:

Sport Helicopters offers a variety of scenic helicopter tours, flights to wine farms and flights to remote activities from the V&A Waterfront Cape Town. Our experienced pilots ensure a safe and enjoyable flight while providing informative commentary on the landmarks below.

We are the original helicopter service in the V&A Waterfront with over 25 years of experience. We currently have a fleet of 9 helicopters ranging from Robinson 44s, Bell Jet Rangers, Bell LongRangers and a Bell UH1 Iroquois.

Sport Aviation Group also has an Aircraft Maintenance Organisation based at the Cape Town International Airport.

We are seeking a Helicopter Line Pilot (Over 500 hours) and Senior Helicopter Line Pilot (Over 1000 hours) to join our team.

🚁 Position 1 : Helicopter Line Pilot

Requirements:

• Valid SACAA commercial pilot license

• R44 Type Rating

• Initial Turbine Rating

• Bell 206 JetRanger / LongRanger Rating advantageous

• Over 500 hours

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Required to work 20-22 shifts per month

🚁 Position 2 : Senior Helicopter Line Pilot

Requirements:

• Valid SACAA commercial pilot license

• Minimum of 1000 hours total flight experience

• RH44 and Bell 206 Type Rating.

• 200 Hours turbine time.

• 20 Hours on B206

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work flexible hours

• Required to work 20 22 shifts per month

• Remuneration to be discussed with applicants.
